Recreational and Conservation Diving – getting my Mojo going!

My ‘Follow Grandma’ blogs have described some of the ‘land adventures’ I’ve had over the last few years. Now I’m having new and unexpected adventures ‘under the waves’ – scuba diving in my seventies. So, it seemed a good idea to set up a separate blog just for diving. I hope you’re enjoying it.

Recently I’ve started to combine recreational and conservation diving through a specialised company, DIver Mojo ( divermojo.com ) and it’s something in which I’m proud to be participating. The projects undertaken are interesting and innovative – from remote island projects, where the invasion of Lion Fish is being addessed and coral regeneration is being measured, to cleaning up plastic bottles on reefs or diving with, and identifying, Manta Rays. The fact that ‘ordinary’ divers, like me, can work alongside researchers and scientists is a real privilege.

Follow Grandma Diving and discover some of the good things that are happening in the oceans right now.
